Feline Genetics

You will find here a program I have written to check the validity of a pedigree and to compute the colour of kittens from a given mating. This program is now available for all breeds !

Before you use the program for the first time, I would recommend that you read the "first use" instructions. If you then want to know more on what's possible with this program, read the description page. If you don't find the answer to your questions in there, or if you want to suggest modifications, don't hesitate to e-mail me (contact @ chacolaterie.com, remove the spaces) !

I also intend to put here useful articles concerning feline genetics.
For the time being, the only such article available in English concerns the chocolate and lilac coat colour in abys and somalis.
It has been completely revised from the old 2003 version and enhanced with the explanation of the latest results in genetic research.
